Meet
the Team
Jill
Bers, Human Resources Consultant
Jill brings a unique background to her role of Human Resources Consultant
to RJP. A licensed clinical social worker with years of clinical
and executive management and private practice experience, Jill served
as clinical care manager, clinical administrator, and then Regional
Director for MCC Behavioral Care, Inc., now Cigna Behavioral Care.
She also served
a two-year tenure as Associate Vice President for Clinical Services
at Magellan Behavioral Health, where she was responsible for leading
a team that ensured members received services that met major customer
performance targets for access, availability, appropriateness and
results. Jill directed all clinical operations for Magellan’s
Maryland Regional Service Center that managed 1,800,000 covered
lives for health plans, including CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
of Maryland, Aetna US HealthCare, Prudential, and employer groups
including AllFirst, City of Baltimore and Anne Arundel County Board
of Education.
Throughout her
career, Jill has developed and implemented continuing education
programs to improve clinical and customer service practices, created
strong alliances to consistently exceed quality assurance goals,
and helped focus the successful practices of several businesses.
As Human Resources
Consultant at RJP, Jill shares her strong organizational and business
management skills to help with strategic planning and project management,
organizational development, staff recruitment and hiring, performance
reviews, continuing education and wellness initiatives.
Jill holds a
certificate in divorce mediation, a bachelor’s degree from
Newcomb College of Tulane University and a Master’s degree
in social work from the University of Maryland School of Social
Work and Community Planning.
