Meet the Team

Sharon Engel, Underwriting Consultant
For over 14 years, Sharon has worked in the Underwriting and Employee Benefit Consulting fields. She was a Senior Underwriter and Consultant for national carriers such as CareFirst and Aon. Sharon provides in-depth technical knowledge in the analysis of employee benefit plans – benefits, financial claims and rate projections, and employer/employee contribution strategies. She utilizes data from cost and benefit surveys, benchmarks and Reden and Anders Actuarial models to develop analytical exhibits encompassing this information related to a client’s specific data.

In April 2005, Sharon joined the RJP team. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson State University and is currently working towards her CEBS designation.
